A few pictures of the heritage below I took at the celebration tour.
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I think you can just make out from the interior picture it has no radio, as I mentioned before no air con or elec windows. It has some nice touches like the aluminium style door lock/knobs, the bands around the gear selectors, mudflaps and rear badge. It is very green, kind of like a pastel version of Keswick if that makes sense? But is broken up nicely by the roof and door hinges and the silver front bumper. A few pictures of the celebration area, I'll not post up anymore a s to spoil it for anyone who hasn't been. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I agree with the colour of the adventurer not being any where near as bright as I thought it would be, I saw one body on the rack and also a fully built one having a few bits done and they look great! Our tour guide did confirm there would be no limited edition/numbering on the final edition models. |

It's fantastic, well worth the money and time, you really get a sense of something special and it makes you appreciated the time and effort that foes in to building the vehicle we all love. |

You ll get "farthest travelled tour goer "award ! If you have time book the afternoon 1/2 day off road driving ,I ve drove a lot of places off road , the Dalton highway (ice road truckers road) in Alaska and Bolivia s "death road " to name a few and I must say that I did learn and enjoy the off road course they have , 1 1/2 hours in a new defender and the same in a new 4.4 v8 diesel range rover As you would say yourself YOHO |

Hi Pickles, thanks for posting the movie, had a look at your gracie and compared the colours..looks
like a lighter green to your keswick green, but very nice thou. did you end up securing a heritage 90, or still uncertain to the situation - like me? thanks robbo |

G'Day Robbo.
Glad you liked the pics & video, Wifey put 'em up on behalf of another member. No, we're not in line for one. We've only had Gracie for a bit over about fifteen months, & we're pretty happy with her. When we ordered her, we specced as many of the "factory" options that we liked, as well as our "special one off customer order Indus roof", so she's pretty much all that we want, apart from the 150HP "celebration" option, or ultimately, a V8 engine! There'll be many in Aus that miss out on a Celebration edition, in which case I reckon that your own spec/ordered Defender built to YOUR specs, would be just as special, better in our case. I'm really looking forward to seeing my first Heritage & Adventure. Pickles. |

Excellent mate, excellent.
If they know you've come all the way from good old Aus, you might get "special" treatment. Regards, Martin. |
