Fabulous Truck!
How are you finding that auto box to date? Have you been on the motorway with it at all so far? I only ask because I'm interested in converting one myself.... |

Hi,
Auto box is great in town. Saves having to continuously change gear. After a few hundred miles, the auto box has loosened up and it is great overall. Lacks a bit of ommph around 50-60 as mentioned before, but around 70-80 seems smooth and it doesn't rev too high (around 2000-2500). One day I'll find the time to get it properly tuned to take full advantage of its potential. |

Hi Pickles,
It is the ZF 4HP22EH autobox found in the Disco 2 http://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/de...o-kit.html The other auto box I was considering was the 6-speed from Wildcat. £8,650! http://www.lro.com/detail/motors/4x4-parts...nder/95002 |
