United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Orkney Grey
Time for an update. The roof replacement is going to be an insurance job, it's going into the bodyshop at the end of next week. It's taken a couple of months as we've only got 1 decent bodyshop up here unless I want to get the work done in Inverness which is over 2 hrs away. Hopefully whilst the roof is off they will replace the N/S body capping which is showing signs of electrolysis. It's also going to get the thermostat replaced as despite some excellent advice from several forum members (you know who you are) it's proving difficult to find a decent day to do it outside.

In terms of mods it's been pretty quiet. I fitted some YRM seatbox corner protectors and sill plates to tidy it up so it looks a lot better now.

Once the roof is replaced I've got a bit of tidying up of cables etc to do with some conduit. 2007 (57) Defender 90 (Sold)
Looking for another to replace it.

The road less travelled.... is a muddy one!

Big News! It's fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just picked it up from the bodyshop where the roof has been replaced following the storms in January. Since the roof was off I got the N/S body capping and corner capping replaced due to corrosion.

I'm pleased to have it back and am delighted with the workmanship. Whilst it was in they also replaced the thermostat so hopefully that might cure the overheating. Will find out in an hour or 2. If it does I'll be ordering an Alive intercooler and starting to work towards improving the driveability of it. 2007 (57) Defender 90 (Sold)
