This is how you evolve an iconic product, bit by bit and keep it fresh. This will be the 6th generation VW Transporter.

Been looking at the T4/T5 lately for a mate they are another vehicle that certainly 'hold their money' very well and fetch top dollar. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Another motor that retains good resale values but has it's own problems.
They have a steering rack problem that started with the T5 and went unchanged into the T5.1 and are still not sure how to fix it. I had three changed in twelve months and it still wasn't right. VW know of the problem but haven't sorted it out. Some people bought £55k California models with this problem. I would stay clear until they correct it. However they do look great and I liked mine apart from that it was too wide to park in normal spaces. |

No Thanks. That would not suit me at all. The money they go for you can buy a decent D4.

"while the interior features a 20-inch tablet table, video conferencing system and front seats which turn and slide so meetings can be held. There's even a built-in espresso machine! "
Looks like they're catering for our Italian friends. |

Hi K9F,
"Been looking at the T4/T5 lately for a mate they are another vehicle that certainly 'hold their money' very well and fetch top dollar." I also have T4 and they are certainly a good investment. T5s are good but T4 mechanically stronger. I have a 2.5 TDi 5 cylinder Auto. Converted it to a camper van last year and drove to Andorra for our first holiday in it! Cheers Don. |

I was because I was daydreaming about the T1 and T3. Got one in 2012 and after a year I got so bored by the comforts I traded it in for the Defender. Make no mistake, it's a lovely van, but it doesn't even have 2% of the T1 / T3 character. |

The T5 is without doubt the 2nd worst van I've ever driven. 1st was the caddy. Can't see the attraction sorry
