I used to have one of these (should have kept it)
http://iwt.co.uk/products/general-duty/general-duty?tab=spec GD84 but with the 16" Landrover wheel option. Bombproof and you wouldn't know you were towing it He who dies with the most toys...wins! |

Can I ask what you decided? I don't want to go down the snaky route and using an IWT as a base seems like the best idea - at the moment anyway. single axle with 16" wheel option or twin axle? 2.2 Tdci 110 XS CSW Corris Grey Prince Harry's D3 (gone but not forgotten) 300 Tdi 110 CSW (gone but not forgotten) |

Didn't go with the trailer, use a 5 ton dumper and tip it straight into a twin axle ifor williams. Job done.

It's not cheap, but decent quality purpose built kit rarely is.
There are a couple of trailers on ebay for £10k plus. So it's a good base to be begin with, if you have the time and money to finish it. Sankey trailers do the job, but they're initially really heavy and don't meet the usual towing laws... Because a NATO hitch isn't as safe as your Halfords tow bar If you have a desire to build one, or want some ideas, grab a coffee and have a look here... http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/thre...nd-trailer |
