I fear there will be no replacement for the utility based Defender we love, I think it's probably indicative that the largest Defender Land Rover dealership in the country, Roger Young, in Saltash, Cornwall, has opened a Isuzu dealership directly next door to their Land Rover dealership.
With the commercial utilty market gone to the Japanese is the enthusiast market enough to support a completely new range of vehicles in addition to the Freelander / Disco / Range Rover? I hope so but fear not. So, looking on the bright side I intend to invest in gallons and gallons of Waxoyl ............. ![]() |
