I don't think so. Why would they know anything, at this stage?

I fear there will be no replacement for the utility based Defender we love, I think it's probably indicative that the largest Defender Land Rover dealership in the country, Roger Young, in Saltash, Cornwall, has opened a Isuzu dealership directly next door to their Land Rover dealership.
With the commercial utilty market gone to the Japanese is the enthusiast market enough to support a completely new range of vehicles in addition to the Freelander / Disco / Range Rover? I hope so but fear not. So, looking on the bright side I intend to invest in gallons and gallons of Waxoyl ............. 2010 Defender 110 Station Wagon, Santorini Black. |

I strongly suspect you are correct. There will be no Defender replacement, but there will be a model called a Defender. 2011 110 USW 1973 Series III 1-Ton 1972 Series III 1-Ton Cherrypicker 1969 IIA 1-Ton 1966 IIA 88" |
