Warning J**p content
Just as we are seeing the end of our Defender, look J**p are going all back to basics.

Guess they see a gap in the market

I like that. I've seen that Jeep are pushing their product in various magazines (The Field eg).

As they have said 'we are not going to dump our heritage'. Good for them.

Just looking at the size of that load bin, means it will make an awesome overlanding platform. Thumbs Up --

no chance of that happening. Gerry is too busy looking at his reflection in a mirror, checking out how good his 3-piece suit looks Rolling with laughter --

Maybe the 'rest of the world' defender (if built overseas) might be basic and retain all the features most of us value. Maybe.

That's part of the collection of special Jeeps made for the annual Easter Jeep Safari.

Several of the others are very nice too:

I really DO like the overland Jeep. Its so disappointing that Land Rover are all excited about their Discovery Sport/Evoque thing and are content to completely let go of their halo, heritage vehicle.

It seems that Jeep are going down the right path; keeping their heritage, producing emission and safety compliant utility vehicles as well as their 'lifestyle' rubbish.

To see the Defender go and be replaced with a 'family' of Evoque clones and expensive bling just seems so wrong.

Rant over.

Have you seen the AEV Jeep brute? Love it.

Yep - that's another nice truck they did.

I guess it helps with the volume of total sales they have to give them the resources to make these specials.
