bit dim for a brake light , normally brake 21w or equivalent output in led
plenty of flush mount led brake light to choose from available and if you use led then no real need for relay etc |

True, output of the LED ones a bit of an unknown, and had thought 5w would be a bit dim. Was just a thought to put to use something laying around really. Will maybe keep a eye out for something more suitable in the scarp yard!

If you get a proper led e marked then should be the proper 21w equivalent output
led autolamps do some |

Ah-ha 955 wedge bulbs are w16w for high level brake lights.
Might be a go-er after all. Not until we get light evenings tho'. |
