You can disagree if you like. Doesnt mean im wrong.
Yes the td5 engine had issues at the beginning but they were soon ironed out. Cant say that for the Puma... Also, you can get waay more power out the 5 cyl td5 than you can the Puma. Thats just a fact im afraid. Not saying it would be cheap, but tuning any engine is expensive. |

I've got the best of both worlds then, a BAS mapped 2.2 and a TD5
Which one is better is a tricky thing. The tuned 2.2 is excellent for road use, still OK off road, and is my daily drive. TD5 (not tuned - yet !) is excellent off road and is fine for journeys where you don't want to do over 65mph. So, which one is better - neither as they are both good vehicles in my opinion. Which one gives me more smiles per mile ....... probably the TD5 Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

Would love a nice big V8 again, just can't justify the fuel bill
