I can give an update on this now as mine arrived from Canada a couple of weeks back but I waited until my remapped ECU was back in the vehicle before trying it out.
Straight out of the packet it did not work, paired OK on bluetooth but nothing. Hooked the unit up on my PC and upgraded the firmware. Back in the vehicle and all was well, activated and unlocked the unit. Just been playing with the live feeds etc and so far so good. Found the oil service reset and reset the service interval on the remapped ECU without any fuss (ECU was put back to standard for it's recent service so the mapped ECU needed to be updated as well). First impressions are that it is easy to use, has a comprehensive set of fault readers and live feeds. Next thing I am going to try and find is if there is a way to make the throttle response less sensitive. And, excellent service from GAP, I have just had an email from Patrick confirming I did need to upgrade the firmware as development has moved on a long way since the unit was shipped.
