What about a contrasting silver roof?...It would look very good with the black. Pickles. |

Personally I wouldn't bother with the 'Under Ride Protection Bar'. Any black metal accessories from LR will start rusting before you even get it off the forecourt. There are all manner of steering guards available aftermarket, the vast majority of which look better than the LR one and will remain looking so for longer. Are you intending doing heavy off roading with lots of rock sections? If not, a steering guard may not be necessary anyway. That said, I very rarely take mine off road and certainly nothing serious but still fancy a steering guard every now and then! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Has anyone seen Barolo Black? I've heard there's a bit of red in it, which may contrast well with the red interior... tbh I'll probably stick to Santorini.

Continentals are a good all round tyre, quiet for road use, more than adequate off. Good luck |

Santorini Black does indeed look smart ...until you drive it in the rain ...or wash it and don't leather it off ....or in hot weather when it soon shows up the amount of dust in the atmosphere.
Good luck with your purchase Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. Santorini Black looks stunning. After it's washed. And before being driven.

Just need a few coats of really good wax and a ph neutral snow foam to help keep it clean, the dirt runs off mine easily, the wheels are a labour of love to keep clean though

Putting the order in now talking to a couple dealers so I'll see who gives me the best deal. I'd like it to be local for any warranty work etc... thank you to everyone who's helped with answers! No doubt I'll ask some more once it arrives and I begin to personalise it a bit more!

Where are you going to order it from?
I found Scott at Guy Salmon in Knutsford to be very good and got a decent discount from them. Where in Manchester are you? |
