Hi Martin,
Apologies , that's why I was thinking they dont deal direct, as I also had not seen any prices shown. That's a reasonable shopping list you have there Lorryman , thanks for the heads up, I will have to get one sorted Cheers, Nick. "Procrastination is the thief of time" |

Thank you for the report and kind words WL
Extreme 4x4 does sell the Safari Equip gear just like us, however I believe our prices and carriage costs are a fractionally better then Extreme 4 x 4. Safari Equip are predominantly manufacturers and are geared up to dealing with the trade but they will sell to the public. The factory is close to us and we can get one offs made for our customers. We have had the 2" receiver in the steering moved by about maximum of 7" towards the nearside which gives a better view down the side of trailer/caravan when shunting trailers in tight places.. We have had special one off attachments made for 2" customers. Click image to enlarge So no real problem with one offs being done. However with one offs we do require payment up front and there may well be a delay of a few weeks to get things made. As a small factory they do batch productions rather then continuous production so it would depend when they do the next batch. WL have to go to the factory this week and collect some gear this week so if I remember I will pick up a few 2" rubber plugs Brendan Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Brendan, is the device at the bottom right of your photo simply an extension tube to bring the attachment further forward? If so it could be the answer to my protrusion issue! Thanks!

Do I really want to know about your protrusion issues BW??
Yes it is an extension piece. If need be could either have a separate extension piece made or get the steering guard made with longer 2" receiver built in. Brendan |

Thanks!
Will be in touch once there's enough in the piggy bank - sadly it hasn't recovered from Christmas and the new year round of insurance renewals yet. |
