I had heard about it and just asked in my local main dealer. I was registered there and then, then received a 'membership card' through the post. It gives me a discount (can't remember how much sorry) on servicing, and as I say, a free MOT. www.landroverallegiance.co.uk - and sign up Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond..... |

Did you get no warranty when you bought it?
You seem to have had a lot of niggly issues with this car   1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

It does have a warranty yes and I've not even looked at the policy yet to look if it cover leaking seals, I suspect it probably won't
The front, rear screens and wiper blades were all covered by the dealer as the warranty didn't cover them. Wheel Bolts and these advisories are the only outstanding items. Check the axle breather tube is not blocked before changing diff seal as a blocked breather will lead to an increase in pressure in the axle as it warms up which will have to vent somewhere.
I changed a diff pinion seal twice on a previous defender before I worked this out  2005 Td5 90 XS

We spoke to the local and very well respected specialist and his advice is to leave both for the time being.
Not the 1st time I've tried to pay him to do work and he's said no.
