Unbelievable. Non Educated Delinquents. Hard to imagine a punishment severe enough. Makes you worry about human nature. Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

I've one they can have - so I've just emailed and offered it to them.
What kind of jerk pinches off Mountain Rescue ? They'll be stealing stuff out of ambulances next. |

Around Wiltshire there's been a few defibulators (sp?) appearing, bolted to walls in nice steel cabinets with a punch code security lock on them. (think the idea is, you find someone who needs help, ring 999 and they give you the code to open it and get the kit out)
Some of these have been crowbar'd off the walls and trashed for no good reason. I can only hope that the scum that does this will one day need it administered on them... "sorry, it's been nicked, you can die on the pavement instead" |

I was reading the other day about the number of defibs that have been stolen recently. I think it was over a dozen in the WIlts and Avon area.

Simple answer is scumbags of low life's! Yes items are stolen out of emergency vehicles, emergency workers are attacked whilst carrying out their duties, you even get drunks defecating in ambulances. Just stops emergency workers/vehicles doing the job they are meant to do. Have argued before that the big problem are the courts for not handling out proper sentences. If courts do not hand out proper sentences taking into account the crime and the actual criminal records of the accused then all the scumbags do is just laugh, go home, collect their benefits and breed more scumbags. Indonesia has just executed some drug smugglers which is the punishment under their law. Now if you travel around Asia you will see signs saying punishment for drug smuggling is death. Why can't UK courts say that the accused is a drain and a menace to society and hand down punishments that are actual punishments and help protect society? Brendan |
