Anti theft bonnet hinge
For clarification, why do you need a device like that? Do bonnets just get stolen? Very hard to believe this happens.

Each part of the globe has its own theft problem. I can remember being up in Cape York struggling to understand why fuel stations were in secure compounds with huge fences all around. Around here the lowlifes nick bonnets -puma ones for the most part but not exclusively and they end up eBay or gumtree but at least you can fill up without feeling like an extra in prisoner cell block H.
The majority of defenders stolen get broken for parts as the sum of the bits exceeds the whole and there is no paper trail for parts unlike complete vehicles.

first you need to fix the hinges to the bulkhead.

Fix the hinge's pin by the threaded grain located on the bottom hinge side (the side that will be in contact with the bonnet)

Than fix the hinges to the bonnet with security SS screws.

Sorry mates I have not thought to take hinges pictures before mounting them Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

Mmmmmmn, good comeback, bit is does sound somewhat “funny peculiar” for bonnet to be stolen. And yes we do have a problem with our indigenous people in that part of the country, but they would not put it on the net, they would use it for a cooking implement (Barbecue)
Did you enjoy Cape York, I have done it a couple of time and could keep doing it? Did you do the telegraph track or the gravel road to get there?

In the UK, bonnet and door theft is quite widespread on Defender's. There was also a spike in bonnet thefts in 2011 when the Puma bonnet bulge came in, lots of idiot thinking its cool to have on pre-2011. Theft of Defender's has reached epidemic proportions, just check out the stats at LandyWatch.
