According to Landrover, the "minimum EEC kerb weight" of a 130 DC HCPU is 2153Kg.
This will include an allowance for fuel and driver*, so the ULW is likely to be around 2000Kg. This of course assumes that you haven't have a roll cage, winch, and lots of other heavy items bolted on in which case it will be heavier. *EDIT: It is based on a full tank and a 75Kg driver. A full tank is 75 litres for a 110 or 130 and although the mass of diesel varies according to temperature and density it is typically about 0.9Kg per litre, so the fuel in a full tank will be approximately 67.5Kg. Add in the driver and that makes 142.5Kg, so the ULW will be approximately 2010.5Kg. This is better news that you might realise, since having a ULW under 2040Kg means that the vehicle is legally defined as a Dual Purpose Vehicle under the Construction and Use Regs and enjoys all the benefits that this endows. |

Nice! What are your plans for it?
Is that a 14 foot trailer, by the way? I am a little disturbed by how badly I want a 130! |

I keep regretting that I didn't buy J-Lo when you sold her!
Speaking of which I see Nene's no longer advertising her so I presume someone bought her in the end. |

Thanks. I've got to say AndrewS for a long time I have been looking in your gallery and I hope one day I will have this as clean and as nicely put together as all your 130's.
I think mine was a bit of a bargain really. It has sat in a shed since 2011 so needs a little bit of work. It needs a batch on the front nearside outrigger to get it through mot and it has a knocking in the gearbox which I need to figure out. It's getting complete service throughout including cambelt. But other than that it's solid and just needs tidying up. I need to buy or make a back for it and then just use it for work really. I would like to get some 285's or 33's on and do a few other litttle bits but I'm in no rush as a plan to keep it for a long time. Yes it is a 14ft trailer. It towed really well, it got a flat tyre on the way back which wasn't a problem. We were back on the road 25 minutes later but 5 miles down the m6 the spare that we put on blow out. |

Thanks for confirming the trailer. I needed to buy an IW trailer last year, and opted for the LM146 on the basis that one day it will be useful for collecting my 130! I figured that one would just fit, so it's good to know that I was right and am not going to regret not going for the 166.
