The car is back from service. Very solid car, BUT the engine is bad Sad, hes blows blue smoke, and when the oil filler cab is of he is blowing smoke to... so he really uses oil...

To know what is coming, what will a rebuild cots ? a used engine, or a rebuild swap ? any suppliers ?

Just a thought, some 2.4 tdci engines had a problem with 'PCJ' 'piston cooling jets' which caused bore damage then high oil consumption and high internal engine pressure.
From what I have read, it should have been fixed before your 2010.
Further information along with affected engine numbers is available on other posts.
Try a search for 'pcj' if you think may help.

Symptom: 497000 Engine Noise

Content Issue: Heavy audible knocking heard on start up.
Cause: On start up oil pressures can cause the piston cooling jets, (PCJ), to latch into a zero flow condition. Due to hysteresis effect in design the jets do not unlatch until the engine is warm and the oil pressures lower again. During this time with no pressurized oil jet flow to the lower pistons / cylinder bores, overheat and scuff conditions / damage can occur.

Action: Replace the engine assy but ensure only engines post serial # ELD00080707063602 are used.
This condition will not occur on vehicles post assured Vin# 9A767162.
Engines post the info above are fitted with modified PCJ internal springs and this issue is now closed.

check VIN, but mine is out, and was made in 2009 November (AA789018) Jay

Maybe the engine isn't "bad".
There could be a leak on the (i think gasket ?) of the injectors, true this way there can leak oil directly on to the pistons.
(i hope i translated it all correctly)

Whats your opinion ?

The verdict:

There was a leak on the injectors, the copper (or brass ?, i forgot) plate thats seals them was leaking.
Surprised there was no O ring... 2 injectors where replaced, the other 2 where cleaned.

It will be €1000+ buts its still better dan a new engine !
