hi there,
i need to remove the rear passenger door trim, to fix the door handle which is a bit loose. i understand that the clips might break, so i thought id order some first... anyone know the part #? i thought its was MXC1800, but when looking on ebay, here ,it implied not is there anything, that is likley to need replacing eg. sacks? thanks Mark |

Perhaps it would ease your mind to know that even I (ham-fisted as I am) recently managed to get the trim off and on again without breaking any clips! Just remove the grab-handle and the plastic door-latch flap and work your way around, gently pulling back to release one clip at a time. There is one final clip right in the middle which I was a bit worried about, so I unhooked the trim from the clip by lifting it upwards (before refitting take it out of the door and put it back in the trim so you can pop it back in again)  Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

is it your rear door or the middle row doors if you get a trim tall or flat screwdriver you can prise them off easily with out breaking them, what handle is it you are doing up because most of the handles eg grab handle and the open/close handle can be tightened without removing the door cards

rear passenger door trim - i only mentioned the tail door as i wondered if the fixings were the same, as id removed that before. sorry for confusion.
does everyone refer to the doors as middle or 2nd row doors then? anyway, the LH 2nd row door handle is loose, in fact if the door is locked, you can pull it away from the body work. looking at the workshop manual, it appears its connected inside with 2 screws, one at each end... im guessing one has come out, and its only attached by the opening mechanism. but will only know when trim is off. cheers for help |

You need to buy new door card to get the red part.
The white clips don't often break it's the red part that usually breaks. |
