Hi guys,
Does anyone have any experience with the new Terrafirma TF930 diagnostic tool. It seems like a good deal at £100 with P&P included. Here's a link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Terrafirma-Handh...2a4906cc78 Cheers, Andrew - Andrew - |

Thanks Jim, I may just take a punt and report back on its performance. The idea of identifying the DTCs appeals to me - and for 100 quid only. It's my birthday soon so I'll drop a wink to the boss - Andrew -

I've ordered one so it should be here on the 6th Jan.
I don't think I can go wrong for £100, all inclusive? - Andrew - |

Right guys, it arrived today and I was straight in the box. Everything is so easy to use and the navigation menu is so simple that it could easily be used by a 6-year old.
You can choose up to 5 different data streams to view on the screen, right from engine temps to MAF readings etc The system takes about 10-seconds to run a full diagnostic check while the option to remove DT codes takes all of a few seconds too. The screen is 2.8 inches wide and shows the DTC numerical reading plus the actual subject which it relates to - very handy. It is not able to programme anything but for 100 quid!!! This has to be the best thing I've bought for years. Very happy. - Andrew - |

Hi Stu, Yes, I've just checked the menu and it does support a Diesel TD5. The actual diagnostic choices are: 1997 and beyond: MS4 Engine / TD5 Diesel. 2007 - 2010: Diesel I4 (2.4L) 2011: Diesel 2.4L 2012: Diesel 2.2L All the best, Andrew - Andrew - |

Not sure Bob but I could send an email to the service support center (provided with the package) and see what they say. Cheers, Andrew - Andrew - |

Be great if you could Andrew
If it does then it means I can have a code reader for the TD5 and Tdci and clear the service indicator on my remapped 2.2 ECU. Failing that my friendly Indie said he would clear the indicator for me. Stu, you're very welcome sir and best of luck with the 29 other kg's that you need to make up
Bob: This is the reply from the US - Dear Andrew, Thank you very much for your email. And very nice to know that you like our Landrover scanner. However, I'm afraid our i930 Landrover scanner can not reset the service indicator on a Land Rover Defender 2012 TDCii . Sorry about that. Thank you very much for your support. Have a nice day. - Andrew - |

Had my one delivered today, it is a great little machine, works a treat on my Puma and my L322
Pics below, it does ABS but only from the TD5 menu, this is quite common with other code readers I have used previously. Best thing about it is that it is unlocked and without license, so if you have more than one vehicle it is an even bigger bargain.
