Today, I repaired the top two lines of the rear window demister with some of the paint on repairer (Granville). Seems to have worked nicely - only checked it with a meter so far, but here's hoping....
Also removed a LAND ROVER decal from my bonnet that had been fitted by the previous owner. It leaves it much cleaner looking from the front, although I do have a nice new 3D silver decal, but I'm not sure if I'll fit it or not. Decisions decisions! Jon. Had a few hours to do some bits on the red 90.
Fitted new side window catches to replace the corroded ones. Took all the drivers side rear trim out to try and find the elusive rattle. All nuts and bolts present and correct and done up. Spend twenty minutes trying to find what spare bits Land Rover had left behind that may be causing the rattle to no avail. Put it all back together and the rattle is still there Then moved on to fitting the Nolden head lights (thanks Brendan ) and was then going to fit the Red Bison upgraded light loom whilst I had the lights out but frost bite started to set in so that will have to wait for another day. Was going to post a pic but it appears upside down even though it isn't on the laptop. |

Drove around Lancashire looking for Morello cherries to bake a Black Forest gateau - don't ask! Anyway, take a journey of 40 miles driving between towns which would otherwise be mundane, and in traffic, but put a Defender into the mix and what a great way to spend a couple of hours out of the house.
Hook, line and sinker - it's been a 36 year wait since falling for a Series 11a as a boy, but it's been worth it! |

I had to upload it into my gallery as when I took the image from your email it would only save upside down but when uploaded it was fine. Somewhere in the darkness there is a Defender in that pic LOL. All the one's I've taken are quite dark unfortunately. |

Put some more sealant around my sunroof to try and once and for all try and get rid of the roof leak.
It always used to leak on the passenger side but since the roof has gone of and back on its now swapped to drivers knee which is much more irritating! Anyway, sealant applied and fingers crossed. Then took my parents to the pub (weird role reversal going on there) and just went for a drive. Nowhere in particular just went for a drive and a think, trundling around all the back lanes and little roads, sitting in traffic or dragging up hills just enjoying being in my truck.
