Catherine, jay used the sane sound proofing as me and covered it with some carpet material from eBay I think, he's put links in his build thread as I asked for them Smile

Sorry for the hi jack.
I always get people ask about mine. I made some bits out of ply to protect the side curve as you can easily get expensive dents.
I'll do some in GRP one day just havent ever got round to it.

Right, the black wheel idea is eating at me now Big Cry

Now got to decide between, gloss black 18"boosts, sawtooths or mantas, anyone got any photos of the afore mentioned fitted to a white 90? Can't seem to find any!

Lovely Defender, I noticed your headlining is the ripple grey (which I prefer) and not the charcoal coloured headlining they use now on the MY2015?

Well the black wheels are on! Went for 18" sawtoohs with BFG AT tyres in the end. 265 tyres sit right on the arch lip with 30mm spacers Thumbs Up

That looks stunning Bow down

My first thought when I saw the original pictures was "that needs black wheels to go with the roof" Whistle

IMHO that's complete - any more black bits would spoil it Thumbs Up

Hello congrats nice choice going for white very soon thinking of 18 wheels too. I have a question how does it drive with the new 18 sawtooth wheels what changes did you notice ? performance, Handling , comfort , steering feel ,,, etc ? Any input is appreciated. Congrats enjoy it Wink

Nice looking 90.
Nice wheels too, however, it could just be the pics, & I don't know whether you're going to off-road it or not, but I reckon that with those wheels on it, it appears to be a little "high", so have you thought of lowering it by say 1-2"?
Pickles.

The height isn't that bad it may be my rubbish attempt at picture taking but I will admit dropping it down a bit has crossed my mind!! The main issue I have is I run a small Land Rover repair centre and the local 'dealer' hate me!! It's almost a certainty that they will be looking for any excuse possible to tell me to sod off when it comes to warranty work, for that reason any suspension mods will be left untill the warranty is out.

As for the ride it's much better, I find the standard tyres are appalling when cornering they felt as if the 90 was going to top over!! Road holding is much better and it doesn't try to veer off when you hit a pot hole anymore!!!
