Obvious question perhaps....Was it all working before you messed with it? If you have a multimeter check for a voltage either side of the 30 amp fuse.
It is almost certainly an earthing issue. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Agree that its most likely an earth fault. It is possible that the symptoms were present but to a lesser degree with filament bulbs fitted to the rear lights.
Has the vehicle had any work done to it that required the transfer box removed? The first place I would check is the earth connection on the right hand side of the transfer box - see this http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic31859.html thread. The led number plate may have been killed by connecting it the wrong way round. |

its a fault that's been introduced to it , ok could still be a earth fault but could not have been like it before as a earth fault will some a lot more with filament bulbs due to high load on the earth
my advise would be work backwards and check wiring if that oks ok then refit each old light and test the lights as you go to find where the problem is you may find its something like in one new light plug the pins are in wrong place etc yes check that fuse , doesn't look right inside |
