you cant braze brass
have to be soldered or better silver solder , but you need a bl@@dy big soldering iron to repair a rad as the rad is made to get rid of heat ! unless its a late plastic rad ! |

maybe I was not very clear.
It's a 110 td5 and had a standard rad that's only 18 months old and now broken and I was wondering if the shiny alloy ones are worth the extra over a standard one |

Honestly, no I don't think it is worth the extra. Standard one performs fine, unless it's tuned to death and you fancy a trip to the sahara I wouldn't bother |
