Hello team!
So I'm thinking about fitting one of these into my 04 TD5, http://www.halfords.com/sat-nav-audio/car-...-dab-radio Can anyone see any issues or problems with doing so? In terms of changing do I just need the gadgets to whizz the old one out and then plug and play? Thanks! |

My head unit just plugged straight in as had ISO connectors on unit and in vehicle wiring. You'll want a DAB aerial as well if you want to receive digital radio. I have a DAB radio in mine, and used a DAB aerial that sticks to inside of windscreen. I have it mounted at the top in the middle, so it is obscured by the rear view mirror. Very discrete, and the reception is fine everywhere I've been so far. They'll probably be a external microphone with the head unit for hands free calls, and again, mine is clipped to the headlining, and the cabling run above the headlining, down the A post, and behind the dash.

You might need an iso adaptor, remove your radio and call in at Halfords and they'll tell you which one you need. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
