The Boxing Day Sales used to be a bit of free for all but they were like a Vicar's Tea Party in comparison. I put it down to the chav mentality.
What happened to the British superb ability to queue? In response to this and by way of making my own personal protest and stand for decent behaviour, when I nipped to the supermarket this afternoon (not any of the ones doing the Silly Sales) I let the man behind me with a couple of items go in front. Nowt sold today you cant get any almost anytime of the year,nearly all high street stores have a permanent sales going.My best deal was a Bosch drill......bort on Wednesday

I have long been of the opinion that if I and a couple of my mates wanted to we could go out and take whatever we wanted from whomever we wanted to and not much short of an armed intervention would stop us. What stops us is that we were taught that such behaviour is wrong. Has society really fallen so far from the light that the scenes on the news are considered appropriate. It beggars belief. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

I think the stores have to take a look at themselves in the pursuit of sales on this one .
Why on earth would you encourage people in at midnight , you are inevitably attracting a range of people who are young, and probably drunk. It is a stupid mix , open the sale at 8 am and it would be a lot less congested, safer and more families could take part. Sales are by and large a nonsense any way an awful lot of product is bought in just for the sales and it is cheap tat anyway. |

I watched the news this morning and just couldn't believe what had happened. One chap was talking about saving £70 on a TV. Now £70 is not a small amount of money, but to trample people just to save £70? Where is society heading?

I was amazed at the female who the BBC interviewed, she wanted a cheap TV and was seen in the scrum obtaining one, at the end of the piece she is shown with a trolley with TWO TV'S.
I wonder how many of these Black Friday goods will show up on *bay this week end. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to  us off.

Normal day at the store: Product X now from 12 pounds to just 10 pounds each.
Black Friday at the store: Same Product X, now from 15 pounds to just 11 pounds each!!!! Isn't it great to have so many stupid people running and fighting at the stores for it? Gives you great fail movies for Youtube and FB...  |
