On my ones there is a split pin you pull out then withdraw the pin on the bulkhead end of the door strap.
Keep an eye out for any washers that may be between the pin and the strap. You may have a plastic cover over it but this should be simple to remove. Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |
