Magmount CB Aerial on Puma Bonnet
I need to put my CB into the truck, but as yet cannot reconcile myself to drill holes in my new pride and joy!!!

Would a magmount aerial on the bonnet work as the bonnet is steel?

I have done lots of googling but cannot see any puma with an aerial mounted this way, but from what I can tell you get a good ground plane from a bonnet.

Can't see why that shouldn't work well or how about a gutter mount for the aerial ? 2005 Td5 90 XS

The CB is for off roading, taking the p1££ when someone gets stuck etc.

I use this one I also place a little bit of rubber over the screws so as not to damage the paint. Cable passes through the door top without damage the beauty of this clamp is that the aerial is high up and out of the way and with a spring mounted aerial it works a treat

I have never liked that gutter mount since one ground a groove in my Range Rover.
This is the one I have mounted on the 110. http://www.thunderpole.co.uk/fixed-body-mo...t-kit.html Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

there you go ... behind the bolts are a couple of spacers to keep the angle off the hinge, the cable runs thru the door... the lower mounting is widened to allow adjustment

Note the quick release antenna base

you could have it, it's in the garage somewhere but can't find it, even though i've been clearing it out Wink
