England 2002 Defender 110 Td5 SW Coniston Green
Crashes
I know it's not a pleasant subject and much is said about the lack of crash protection on a Defender but there was a crash locally involving a Jap crew cab, what happened to the cabin looks pretty unexpected...

On hgv's the cab is designed to shear off in case of a severe accident, for the same reasons car seats do the same it (helps) stop the occupants being crushed.Lookin at the pics it looks like the entire passenger area has come off, apart from having the roof cut off and doors removed its quite well intact.. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
