The big question is can the market support the price point for us to "risk" the level of investment to produce this.
Ten years ago when we introduced a set of LED lamps for Defender at £200 everyone said we were mad When we introduced LED headlamps six years ago at £1800 per set everyone said we were mad Today you can get a set of LED lamps to suit Defender for around £100 and a set of LED headlights from £275 To bring the driving lamp to market will require specialist tooling just the same as Land Rover had to make which is not cheap and in turn will make the driving lamp more expensive than the headlight! |

A pity, but understandable. There never will be thousands of Defenders with 1. the SVX style front installed, and then 2. interested to pay for this conversion... Guess you will get to dozens, maybe a few hundred at best?
Not the end of the world, because the combination of LED headlamps on high beam complemented by the halogen aux high beam are doing a perfect job to brighten up the road more than really needed. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
