You should be able to communicate to it through the serial port, there are no special leads or connectors required. I will be surprised if you can do it with the ldv kit as immobiliser diagnostics aren't usually covered by anything other than a dealer level or manufacturer specific diagnostic tool. I would be tempted to find someone with sdd/auto logic/ nano com and then it will probably communicate fine

To access the 10AS with a diagnostic tool it has to be done with the ignition off.

Thanks for advice lads,
I will have a go with the ignition off and if that does`ent work I`ll leave well alone. Knowing my luck at some point I will get cocky and end up killing the 10 AS ecu. Giving myself an expensive lesson in what not to do. Excuse the spelling I`am better with spanners and wires. |
