Maxxis 762 and 764

I'm going to be looking a changing my tyres in the next month or so, on look on looking around I see that I could get 4 x Maxxis 265 75 16. 764mt for £464.00 or 4 x 255 85 16 762 mt for not a lot more. My question is does anyone run either of these on their vehicles? I know T.O.R. have 764s on their colorado and give them a good write up.
My use will be mostly tarmac with the occasional green Lane and some muddy tracks and fields on shoot days.

2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 X-Tech LE Nara Bronze

I have 255s BFGs. Choose those for the extra hight. 265s have approx the same diameter as 235s, so except for the extra width it doesn't add much value to me.
