mines averaged 27.8mpg over 13500miles. 110UXS mix of driving including towing the challenge truck as worse case - 20mpg and nice slow A road driving giving best of 32mpg Cheers

I did one time 30.2 mpg, but just one time and driving at 85 km/h as top speed, usually I do 20,5 mpg!!! in
on/off highway use.

Mine got finally fixed, no more coughs, a pleasure to drive now (but that's only after taking it 4 times to the dealer, each time insisting, that they eventually took a closer look, after the usual denial "it's normal, there's nothing wrong with your car", or "there is no error logged so there is no problem", and the like).

Oh, and MPG is brilliant, orders of magnitude better that before, I drove 300km with 26.52l which is an average of 8.84 l/100km, or roughly 32MPG if I am not mistaken.

It's a 90 with a bit more than 10.000km on the clock now... No remap, no nothing, all genuine Smile

can i ask what you mean when a couple of you said you have an "EGR partially blanked"

i fully understand why you would blank one, like my previous 300tdi and my FL1 just has the vacuum pipe blocked - is that what you mean?

thanks BM52

Hi my average at the the last check was 27.0 and that was with a new Big Country roof rack . That was with a BAS remap, a 12 blanking plate , and a full size alisport intercooler. std air filer. That is driving normaly without my eco head on! i have managed 28.5 / 29.0 before now while testing mpg vs blanking plate sizes. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up 2008 110 County utility

bong !
light came on at 449.3 miles which when I fill up I suspect that it'll equate to about 32.5 mpg?

not as good as I'd like but about as good as I'm going to get I suspect?

Blimey - I'm lucky to get to 400 miles in my 110. Shocked

Mind you, I do tend to 'press on' a bit.... Whistle

Anybody worked out the effect of aircon on mpg?

I do ok on our hills - 31mpg around home, lots of short trips...
Only 29 on motorways though.
To get 32 from a 110 sounds very good!

Mainly short journeys of under 5 miles and I'm averaging 27 over a whole tank full.

szracer, I ran mine for a tankful each with and without aircon doing roughly the same journeys and found that A/C increases fuel consumption by exactly 1mpg ! Yes- my life's one long roller coaster Cool

469.6 and it was time to fill up.
just incase I've not top place for best mpg (although I must be in the top 10 Very Happy )

has anyone with standard tank managed to get more than 68.20 ltrs in ? with just enough space left for 250ml of 2 stroke ?
