Hi all,
I have a problem when changing gear, especially the low gears (1st./2nd/3rd). When the clutch is depressed to change gear and the foot is raised from the accelerator the revs continue to increase momenterally e.g. the revs don't drop instantly, it rises briefly. Seems more noticeable when the engine is cold. Any comments on experiences El pepe flamenco JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

"Often using a trailer with bad wiring"
Don't they all have Bad Wiring I've very rarely found one that everything works on, without having to fiddle them.. |

I'm having the same problem after I installed Cruise Control. It was not something I noticed before I had installed Cruise Control. The symptoms are exactly as you describe. My workshop canīt come up with a solution, must wait for the latest software. (???). Puma 90 MY 2010 (sold 2017)

Hi all,
Have been in touch with my dealer (who are pretty good and very obliging - contrary to many general comments about dealership) who is investigating with LR about the software/master cylinder switch/brake fuse and they will give me feedback prior to taking the truck in for correction. Will keep you informed of what happens. Joe El pepe flamenco JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

Hi,
Sorry for the delay in posting the result of the problem with the 'overring when changing gear'. Thanks to LROV90 and his advice I took the vehicle to the dealer and they changed the Clutch Switch on top of the master cylinder which signals the ECU to drop the revs on gear change and the result........100% cured the problem. So, off you go to the dealer and insist on them changing the Clutch switch on top of the master cylinder and all should be fine again. Good luck Joe El pepe flamenco JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

Hi there.
I have had the exact problem with my puma and after much searching for the problem, (the dealers say that its a clutch switch or what not that they are changing but actually it is a fuse. You will notice that it starts doing it after towing> sometimes the trailer shorts witht the car and blows a fuse. Check the fuses in the driver legwell, not under the seat, will be 100%. Good luck |
