Here is a few more, the pilot landed next to my neighbours workshop, lucky bloke, the kids at the primary school were a bit shook up! They were leaving school when it flew overhead and crashed only 200 meters from the school.

We had the airforce at the school today answering questions from the youngsters , best one was "will he get a new plane", the answer was not for a very long time !

Saw that on the news. We have them over here regularly along with assorted other military types including the odd Osprey or two. Steve.

Sorry FF, this was all my fault. The batteries ran out of my radio control unit and it crashed. It won't happen again Very Happy - Andrew -

Holy moly.

We were at RAF Valley, yesterday, after seeing an F15 on Tuesday come over Black Rock Sands....it kind of paused, like REALLY slowly, as if it was about to stall , then carry on over us, literally so low we saw the pilot.

Bizarre !

Anyway, glad no one was hurt.

We have them silly low over here sometimes. Some months ago we had a few days of US helicopters whizzing over doing circuits at treetop height, that was fine until we had the farrier here dealing with some of the horses which were tied up either being worked on or waiting there turn, a chopper suddenly appeared over the trees which put the wind up the nags a bit but give the pilot his due he and his number two banked away and made a point of not coming closer than a field away for the rest of the day. Back at our old place we used to get regular flyovers by Globemasters on finals into Midenhall, they would sometimes do some extreme throttle adjustments which would always make us stop and to check the damned thing was still hanging up there. Steve.

I was on holiday in Scotland when I was very young with my parents and we were out having a walk through the mountains when we heard this almighty roar from below us as a jet flew beneath us through the valley. Can very vividly remember looking down and seeing the pilots white helmet and the shear excitement as it shot past.

I suppose the big question for FullFat is.....

Will you be the first person in the country to have a guided missile land rover security system? Whistle

Glad your ok Thumbs Up

Any idea why it crashed. I heard it came down tail first. Was it left alone as if was armed?
