how to best cut up waffle boarding

Hi
I've just bought a large sheet of waffle boarding 2" thick. Any advice on how best to cut this up as not getting anywhere with a jig saw . Cut out one off road waffle board by hand and my arm has had enough any one got any ideas how to cut this stuff up more easily Thanks

Are they GRP

if so a hand grinder with the right cutting disc.

A GRP Disc won't clog (as easily) you can also use a lubricant, washing up liquid will do

A Hand Grinder gives a clean cut too

If you were closer I'd say drop it in to my work and I'd run it through the waterjet for you.

Otherwise does anyone neer you have a big circular saw?

I would have thought that a saw blade rather than a disc would be better, the grinders will ' melt' the cut- a circular skil saw would be best running along a clamped straight edge..

I used a jig saw when I cut some to size a few years ago it was hard going.

I had a pallet full of the stuff in various sizes to make waffle boards out of. I simply sued a 9" grinder with a diamond disc or a Stainless disc in. Done in seconds. Wear appropriate PPE as it is a dusty old job
