Wiper Woes
About a month ago I replaced the wiper motor (a $hitpart one which burnt out after 1 year) with a genuine LR one - new cable, all greased up and set so the wipers were positioned in the slack spots of the wheel boxes (as advised by an LR expert). All was working well - very quiet, parked properly etc.
Today, the passenger side wiper seemed to get itself out of sync and tried to dive towards the bonnet, so switched of, removed the arm and put it back to the correct position - there was no movement between the are and the splined spindle.
Switched the wipers on and it did the same again, so I removed the wiper are and drove home, the drivers side is working perfectly.
Is the wheel box FUBAR? or could it be the cable bas stretched or something else???
Cheers

Update on this.
I've changed both wheel boxes & put a new cable in so all working again.
While the dash was out I thought I'd investigate the leak into the drivers side footwell. It was the wheel box letting water in, running along in the wiper cable, then dripping over the alarm box! So hopefully the new wheel boxes & greased new cable will stop this too. Series IIa Lightweight - Long Gone
