RIP Allan Hennings.
RIP Allan Hennings.

A good brave man whose heart was big, and who did not deserve to die in such a way.
My thoughts are with his family and children

So sad a man with a big heart trying to help the innocent caught up in a senseless war.

sadly I'm sure he wont be the only one.
I was only saying to my Mrs yesterday how the things that we worry about (including our Land Rovers) are trivial compared to the suffering and loss of life in other countries and ill health or the loss of a loved one can put it all into a clearer perspective. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

My good thoughts are with his wife and kids.
I'll keep the bad ones to myself... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

That's insulting to animals. I can't think of any that behave in such a way (and I don't mean this as any kind of dig at you incidentally).

Inhuman I could agree with.

RIP.

I agree about insulting animals but I've always thought the word "inhuman" seems a bit of an excuse, as if "they" are different from "us". I'm afraid they are entirely human and should be judged guilty of their disgusting human crimes by any civilised human standards. German schools are careful not to label the Nazis as "inhuman" to make sure children grow up to recognise the evil that can take hold of anyone if they allow themselves to be manipulated in the name of some twisted cause. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

I think Gilarion summoned it up well.

Also we must remember the other innocent people especially the children who are affected by the war/atrocious acts of terror been committed in the Middle East.

Ity is a very sad affair and I really feel for his family who will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.

But think back a few years and Al zaquari (sp) who started this beheading game off. He was specifically targeted and hunted and killed. It is only 1 person but if we take them out it shows to the wider world that we will not rest. No matter how long it takes.

To be fair unless the Enola Gay flies again and we make a big sheet of glass we will never be rid of these barbarians. You can cut the head off the serpent but it will always regrow with bigger fangs.

Just remember there are big men out there doing nasty things on our behalf so we can sleep well at night. I for one are proud of everyone of them Thumbs Up 110 D250 SE HT
