Yes - that's the version for the 2.4D.
I'm looking for the 2.2D version. As said previously, I'm expecting it to be susbstantially the same but it would just be good to confirm that with an actual copy of it. |

I would also be interested in a 2.2 version if anyone has an electronic copy.
Does anyone know how to get the information onto LR electronic service record system, if the service was carried out by an non dealership garage? |

Well I've been ringing around for prices today and several dealers have muttered about the dpf making the service more expensive, so maybe the new Check Sheet makes reference to a particular activity for this?

Surely the maintenance check sheet would be the same on both models? Only the specific engine oil grades would differ, but the service items would be the same? --

OK so having just had my 1st service, I thought I'd share the new version sheet for anyone else looking for a copy:

With regard to the corrosion sheet, i take you haven't had your truck undersealed... but would LR make note if you had underselaed that an inspection couldn't take place due to non-approved underseal covering everything?
Could undersealing a Defender from new void corrosion warranties purely because they are now unable to insoect the under body? Not that its going to stop me |

Thank you Supacat!
I've been scouring the web for this as I try to decide about signing up to Land Rover's Service Plan. Topix is ok if you have a log-in, which I don't. Cheers, Angus |

I thought it might be worthwhile to post an update. Mines been in for it's 2nd service and there's some revised paperwork.
The main difference that's immediately apparant is that changing the differential oil has changed from a 48k/4 year cycle down to every 2 years. I woner what's happened to cause that change? So my MY12 XS 110 Station Wagon is coming up for it's third service and has just 10k miles on it.
The warranty expires towards the end of June. It has been in for some warranty work this week including the oil pump replacement. As I see it, I have just had the oil and filter changed for free as part of the pump change Looking at the A service and other docs Supercat has posted, apart from a few basic checks, topping up the transfer box and dropping the diff oils, there is not a great deal to do. I'm reaching the conclusion that I should just : Take it in to get the corrosion check done and the book stamped. No idea what they charge for that. Book it into a discount MOT place to get the MOT sorted (before the warranty runs out just in case there are any issues) Check the transfer box oil level Change the diff oils Grease any propshaft joint nipples (if they still have them) And carry out the other checks on the service list. Only down sides I can see are that LR might be less helpful if something goes bang in July and the vehicle could be worth a bit less without a full dealer service history come the time to sell. I've asked a couple of stealers if they can do a bargain basement service given no need for oil and filter change, but unless it comes in really low cost I just can't see the sense in paying through the nose for a dealer stamp in the service book. Any thoughts? Also, would you drop the transfer box and gearbox oils at 10k as well, or is that just overkill? Cheers |

I was able to log into Land Rover's Online Service History - https://osh.landrover.com - enter my VIN, and then download each of the service check sheets up to 200000km.

What a great link, thanks. Unfortunately my Defender was apparently delivered to Russia and is not eligible for this service

Useful service history site - would be even better if the information was accurate!!!
Checked on mine and it says one service was done at Hunters in Kings Lynn - and its never been within 50 miles of there! As the computer guys say - "Rubbish In - Rubbish Out" Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |
