There is also a series 1 and 111 coming up for auction on the 24th this month. I would also love a s11a registered around my birthday. |

Absolutely perfect... but that's never going to sell for £2,500 to £3,000 is it?

I have had "Neddy" as my only vehicle since 1971, she was registered in 1962. Recently she developed a nasty knock so an engine change is on the cards, probably to the later 5 bearing crank from a series 3. Only done 220,000 miles. I wish I had bought her new. I find the steering a bit heavy these days, I am 76 with dodgy knees. Go ahead and buy one before the prices get silly. Some very nice Series landies!
I've got a 1975 Series 3 SWB that i've had since i was 16, bought in 1993. It's been off the road for the last 10 years but it's just had a 200Di fitted and been tidied up so will be back in use soon! The only issue is convincing Mrs K that i really do need 2 landies... Hopefully the free tax from next year should help! Rich. |

Thought so, I had a pre war saloon that had lost it's number so had been issued with one in the same number range as yours. Cracking looking Series though - more pics please Steve.

That looks great
More pics please. Only mod I would suggest is adding mirrors on the door hinges, the wing mounted mirrors are worse than useless and in today's traffic, dangerous Click image to enlarge 1970 Series 2A 88" |
