There is also a series 1 and 111 coming up for auction on the 24th this month.

I would also love a s11a registered around my birthday.

Absolutely perfect... but that's never going to sell for £2,500 to £3,000 is it?

Go and get one. I still have my 'university car' (SIIa SWB) tucked away in a barn somewhere. If I had the time and space I'd be dusting it off (one day). However, sadly (in my youth) I thought it would be a good idea to butcher it into a V8 100 inch hybrid on a RR chassis Embarassed .. totally regret that now and wish i'd left it alone Big Cry

As it was in the early days before butchering .. (days of hair also!)

Thumbs Up I have had "Neddy" as my only vehicle since 1971, she was registered in 1962. Recently she developed a nasty knock so an engine change is on the cards, probably to the later 5 bearing crank from a series 3. Only done 220,000 miles.
I wish I had bought her new. I find the steering a bit heavy these days, I am 76 with dodgy knees. Whistle

Go ahead and buy one before the prices get silly.

The 90 on the left belongs to my son, properly brought up!

Some very nice Series landies! Very Happy Very Happy Cool Cool

I've got a 1975 Series 3 SWB that i've had since i was 16, bought in 1993. Very Happy It's been off the road for the last 10 years Sad but it's just had a 200Di fitted and been tidied up so will be back in use soon! The only issue is convincing Mrs K that i really do need 2 landies... Rolling Eyes Laughing Hopefully the free tax from next year should help! Smile

Rich.

Thought so, I had a pre war saloon that had lost it's number so had been issued with one in the same number range as yours. Cracking looking Series though - more pics please Very Happy Steve.

That looks great Mr. Green

More pics please.

Only mod I would suggest is adding mirrors on the door hinges, the wing mounted mirrors are worse than useless and in today's traffic, Censored dangerous
