As per the title really. What experience has anyone had with a previously CAT equipped TD5 with respect to their MOT? Just wondering

But were they both previously CAT'd? 2002 is an early one and exempt anyway AFAIK. 2006 TD5 90 County

You are correct about them being exempt. With a 2007 vehicle you are not! Why not 'sound out' your MOT tester like I did and then you can be prepared?

You will have to take into consideration the ignorance or the observation of the tester, just coz it past this year doesn't mean it will pass next year,or that your mates will pass at another garage. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

I thought wrongly vehicles before MY2005 were exempt....apparently not.

If I'm reading the notice correctly, then doesn't the title explain all ?
1 1 Presence of Catalysts and Particulate Filters on Diesel Powered Vehicles AEs & NTs Classes 4, 5, 7 So the check for a Cat is only applicable to vehicles tested at Class 4, 5 or 7 as per the link that K9F added. Jim Td5 110 HD Hardtop.......not quite standard |
