update:
went through swapping inj procedure as described by munch the misfire didn't follow injectors it stayed in no3 cylinder. so it seems like the problem IS with the SH head. so ive done what i should have done 6 weeks ago and saved all this bother. ordered a brand new AMC built up head from turners!!!!! so today i took head off for 3RD time in 5 weeks! getting good at it! from start to head off 1h 50 mins!!not bad on my own. now looking at block there is loads of oil on deck and in and around C2 &4 maybe the stem seals were shot!! anyhoo im nearly £600 lighter today. bye bye swing away, and further soundproofing My 109 thread my youtube channel |

As above, feel for you dude.
All being well, should be sorted with a new head. I'm fairly certain that Turners do a better job than land rover did originally so should hopefully solve your ills |

Your original symptoms of coolant loss sounded like P gasket, did you cure this?

Nope, p gasket fine, think old head was cracked as it was pluming white smoke. A LOT ! My 109 thread
