if its bottoming out then your springs are too soft. you cant really compare old springs and new springs as they may sag.
Also, id have assumed the bump stops on the axle would stop the damper completely bottoming out. |

Yes you're right about the bump stops but if the length of the shock is shorter than the distance of the bump to axle,,,,the shock breaks. |

Sorry to say, but terrafirma suspension is rubbish. I would suggest fitting decent quality springs and dampers.
I've had a few terrafirma suspension parts, and also other mates trucks, all have been removed and scrapped Andy |
