Yet another mystery noise... this time the clutch pedal
Hi all,

Sort one noise in my 110, and another one appears!

I mentioned the squeaky clutch pedal to LR at Milton Keynes, and they said that they'd replace the spring. It still squeaked though. Not such a big deal, I figured I'd just spray it with more lithium grease.

However on the way home today, the musical pedal started making a new sound! Whenever I depress it, it makes a soft sound... don't laugh.. almost like a "sucking" or "puffing" sound. Rolling Eyes It sounds like it is coming from just above where I can see, behind the fascia.

I popped my head down and see that LR doused the whole area in lithium grease, it is literally everywhere, but I couldn't see the source of the new sound.

Not knowing the internals in great detail... is there anything directly attached to the clutch pedal at that level that is hydraulic in nature? Does anyone else have one that makes a similar sound? More importantly - could it potentially be anything to worry about?

Figures... big trip coming up and now all these sounds appear. Thud

the clutch lever is connected the other side of the bulkhead to the master cylinder - just open the bonnet and you will see Mike
