Adjusted my JW Speakers height today. Did it the simple way, park the truck on a level road, walk at least 40m away, and lower my head to see when each of the low beam lamps start to blind me. Then with a screwdriver adjust each of them up or down as required and make sure that both are identical height. Also checked the front fogs to make sure oncoming traffic will have no problems at all from my front lights. Driving tonight confirms beam is high enough, and same time none of the oncoming traffic has signalled me.

Went off to abersoch, North Wales for the bank holiday.
On the way saw this. Seems to be a private vehicle rather than an advertising thing, but maybe both? Says Conwy LR on the plates. Click image to enlarge And also these! Click image to enlarge Then a bit of fun this afternoon, had to put the donut on the roof as had a car full! I like it too. It made goodle #hibernot, an online hub all about being outdoors in the winter and LR seem to have embraced it.

I went to Abersoch on Thursday and almost got repetitive strain injury from all the "waves". Bank holidays seem to attract defender owners like paper clips to a magnet..
There were 8 of us parked all within 100 metres in the town centre, came back after a meal to find another had cuddled up to next mine. It might be explained by the way it rained so hard there was a flooded stretch of road on the way back through Llanbedrog, the road outside the londis was under by about ~30cm - This got the sand off her Click image to enlarge |

Also went to north wales beddgelert, where the camp site we booked didn't understand the concept of a roof tent as although we explained both over the phone and on arrival it was attached to the vehicle they wanted us to park away from the pitch?
Moved to a different site which I think ended up better anyway. |
