Mine does flash at all times when the indicators are on Defender 90 XS TD5 (03 Reg)

RESULT
RESULT!

Had another wiggle around with it at lunch and managed to get it to work.

Turns out the plug earth was a bit dirty so a good swish out with some WD40 and everything worked as it should!
