Rubber to prevent rattling
Currently looking at buying some rubber/spongey material to stop the lid from vibrating/rattling on my cubby and then also the T_box i'm making.

What sort should I get??

Looking at this companies ebay shop as they have quite a range if different types

Carpet the underside will do the trick.
OR get an elastic strip across the top like I have to stop the Sub rattling the lid shout.
I have both of these ideas combined and they do the trick!

Thumbs Up

I'm using some rubbery pond liner. its thin, you can cut it to shape very easily and lasts for years. 1953 80"

I did the edges of the seatbox lids, floor panels, transmission tunnel etc with a roll of 5mm thick closed cell foam approx 15mm wide. It's held up really well and a 10m roll is only a few pounds from ebay.

I've got some of that above from eBay trouble is the adhesive is rubbish, if it gets warm it'd move about.
I guess though it was very cheap so I won't complain.
