Alternative intake grill?
Hi All,

I noticed today that the intake grill for the engine on the driver's wing has fallen off. Looking at this carefully it seems to be held on with 6 plastic pegs about 2.5 mm in diameter, made out of a very brittle plastic.

Does anybody know of any better grills that fit, not really looking to go for a snorkel, just a good quality "grill" the landrover one is so brittle if I buy another I'm sure the same thing will happen again 3 years down the line.

However it might be the only option, so hoping they are not too expensive.

I bought a copy fer £5 and threw it straight in the bin, wouldnt stay on Rolling Eyes ,oem ones are about £40 Shocked ,so I bort a stainless jobbie fer £10, Eblag or Paddocks and painted it black.

Thanks for the replies folks.

The OEM is utter tat and not worth anywhere near 40 quid. I'd put an aftermarket one on just to avoid paying £40.00 for a badly designed grill worth about £1.50 !
