Hi All
Didn't know where to post this but though that 'Working Defenders' was about right. My wife and I took part in the RTTS (Race to the Stones) event at the weekend...hard but good http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic28408.html Whilst Volvo were one of the official sponsors, providing cars for the event (a missed opportunity LR) when it came to the vehicle used by Marshals along the Ridgeway, the choice was easier... thats pretty cool, does it weigh much. Just winding though if one of those battery 4 prop helicopter things give you more freedom. I have noticed a 4x4 mag here now use one in their DVD's and the scope and size of imagery is quite amazing. Virtual tours are a think of today, imagine a little fly around the property, especially the farm. My Defender and travels |

Ada, must be someone else as i've never been to a LR show.
Newhue, The mast weights about 35kg + its box. The 110 is an ex Eon utilities one and came with a heavy duty Brownchurch rack with a built in ladder. I removed the ladder rails and put Buffalo board down as the Mast and Camera are often operated when I'm on the roof of the Defender. Click image to enlarge |
