It's the same in Germany
Shortly after I bought mine (from Köln) I needed warranty work done... Avalon Premium Cars in Munich (the only warranty-approved JLR dealer near here) were useless and treated me like crap. They wouldn't give me any kind of loan car "because there was public transport nearby" - but they didn't offer a train ticket either and they up repeatedly. So I changed to Auto Kohler in Landsberg. Sure, they are an hour away but they were always polite, helpful (even "generous") and did good work. They always offered me a loan car or bus/train tickets and treated me with respect It was like night and day! Now the 110 is out of warranty, I use the local Indie who seems very competent (but still expensive). It shouldn't be like this but I guess it's human nature. It depends where you go and who you get on the day Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Unfortunately when you live on a peninsula like me, we only have one dealer and no choice in the matter. That dealer (Carrs of Truro in my case) can give absolutely terrible service, forever, and survive because the customers don't have any other choice if they want to own a modern LR. 5 Land Rovers and a Corsa!

This is why I just follow Jeremy & James - that way I know someone who cares is keeping an eye out, and why I am using a dealer who are now an hour and a half away. 2011 110 USW
