Just picked up the truck… dealer carried out the Service Instruction according to Technical Bulletin LTB00585, evidently the “shifter bush clearance hole dimensions to [sic] large”.
Hasn’t made the slightest bit of difference, of course. Oh well, back to the drawing board... Peter |

I wonder why the dealer thought that would help!
It sounds to me as though a spring's dropped out of the driven plate. I imagine you're taking it back to the dealer and asking them to do it properly. |

And the first prize goes to........ BLACKWOLF!
"Clutch springs broken and worn; also found output shaft and sleeve worn". Everything replaced under warranty, broke my heart to have to return the courtesy top-of-the-range Freelander today, probably a sales ploy to get you to buy one. This particular vehicle (63 plate with 5,000 miles on the clock) could be mine for less than twenty-nine grand, now where did I put the kids' money boxes? Peter |

Peter, my local dealer tried the same ploy. I had my 110 in for a health heck after the Croatian dealership carried out some work for me. I was given another 110 to drive about in. Car had to go back in for some new parts and would be in 10 days time. I was working in Germany so left the wife the 110. The dealers collected my car from the wife's work and left a spanners Evoque. As it was due to take a couple of days to fix it was due to go back on the Fri. She received a call early after lunch on the Fri to say that they wouldn't have time to change vehicles over. And because of that, don't bother refueling it as it was their choice for us to keep it and extra 24hrs. As it turns out SWMBO didn't like it anyway. So I saved myself a few quid 110 D250 SE HT
